Trinity Chapel and Corona
The Trinity Chapel and the Corona round off the East End of the Canterbury Cathedral. They were built by William the Englishman for the shrine of St. Thomas Becket. It was the idea of William the Englishman, without the influence from William of Sens that had characterized his previous work on the Canterbury Cathedral, to enlarge the East End of the Canterbury Cathedral. The construction of these was completed in 1784, and marked the end of the reconstruction project caused by the fire of 1174.
