Welcome to an exhibit dedicated the examination of the Toledo Cathedral in the context of historic memory. Inside several figures, architecture, events, and influences associated the the Toledo Cathedral will be shown. The Toledo Cathedral was built from the years of 1227-1493 AD on the site of a grand mosque. It was intended to be a symbol of Catholic dominance that was emerging over the Iberian Peninsula, it would turn out to be much more.
